Catharina Gruber, wife of John Gruber, Beheld the life of this world 3rd Nov 1804(English translation), rest below ground.

She married John Gruber on Dec. 4, 1829. They had at least one daughter, Rebecca, whose baptism was found in the Salem Union Church records in Forks Township. Rebecca was born on Nov. 2, 1831. She is also listed with her husband, John as a communicant in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1839, although there was another John & Catharina Gruber/Gruver so the communicant record might be for them.

I have verified that Catharina Holland was born Nov. 3, 1804 and baptized Jan. 13, 1805 in St. John's Lutheran Church in Easton, Pa. to Peter Holland and his wife, Susanna. In her father, Peter's will, he mentions his deceased daughter, Catharina, intermarried to John Gruber/Gruver and leaves her share to her children. Therefore, she died prior to 1858.

Gravesite Details

First name is breaking up on gravestone. Gravestone appears to have broken in two pieces with the bottom part of the gravestone behind the front half of the stone. I could not find a death date on the front part of the gravestone.
