MARSHALL – Mamie Massey Davis, 87, of Little Pine Road, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008.
Mrs. Davis was born February 17, 1921 in Madison County where she had lived all of her life. She was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church and the owner/operator of Davis Grocery on Little Pine Road. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Freeman Massey, husband, Lois Davis, three children, Carolyn Davis, James Davis and an infant son, sisters, Belva Treadway, Verna Davis and Lela DeLorme and a brother, Dave Massey.
Surviving is her son, Charles Davis and wife, Teresa of Marshall, twin grandsons, Keith and Kevin Davis and one great grandson, Justin Davis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2008 in Caney Fork Baptist Church with the Reverend Howard Self officiating. Burial will be in Dry Pond Cemetery.
