Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Gering were held Monday morning at the Methodist church in Jasper.
Mrs. Gering died Saturday at the Fowler clinic at Harrison following a stroke which occurred at her home home three miles south east of Jasper.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Gering, two sons, Harold and Ed Rust of Hastings, Neb., a step mother, Mrs. Maude Hill, of Superior, Neb., three brothers and a sister.
Mr. and Mrs. Gering had moved to Newton county from Nebraska about three weeks ago.
Burial was in the Jasper cemetery.
