An Elizabethtown resident Mrs. Jane Kathryn Richardson age 85 passed away Sunday June 11, 2023 at her residence. She was born September 1, 1937 in Taylorsville, Kentucky to the late James D. and Irene Barker Summitt.
Jane was a former employee of Winter Park Retirement Center where she was as a food service supervisor and a member Disciples of Christ First Christian Church of Bardstown.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James M. Richardson, a son Charles B. Richardson, 3 sisters Lula Snellen, Priscilla Ludka and Linda Ritchie.
Jane is survived by a son David Scott Richardson of Elizabethtown, 2 daughters Susan Howard of Vine Grove Kentucky, and Wanda Livers of Bardstown, a brother Ralph Summitt also of Bardstown, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In honoring Jane's wishes, cremation has taken place
