Shelburne Free Press & Economist, April 15, 1937, ROBERT YOOL:
There passed away at his home at Fairmount, Sask., on Saturday March 27th, Robert Yool, in his 74th year. He was well known farmer of the district and had suffered a stroke a year ago last January, when he was found by his neighbors with his feet badly frozen. He was taken to Kindersley hospital where the right foot was amputated and the toes of the left foot also removed. After about three months he was taken home and taken care of by Mr. R. A. Doner until his death on March 27th, which resulted from another stroke.
Mr. Yool was born at Primrose and lived in this district until 1928, when he moved to Fairmount. He is survived by his wife Ida, and one daughter, Mrs. Stanley Hustler, of Tilsonburg, and two sons, Garfield and Alex, of Shelburne. A brother Peter, of Shelburne, and two sisters, Mrs. David Holt, of Canoe, B.C., and Mrs. Andrew Turnbull, of Alliston, also survive. Funeral services were held on Monday March 29, from the home of Mr. R. A. Doner, to Kindersley Cemetery.
