There is a Tomb in the old granary Burying ground - between Park St. Church and the Tremont House - in 1827 numbered 147 & which had been sold by the Town to S. Twist -- Mr. Dalton & R. Griggs — that had belonged to this James Whitcomb, & escheated to the City . " Vide Revd T. M. Harris. "
