TRUCK HITS YOUTH IN FRONT OF HOME
Timothy Bomia, 6, of Erie, was struck by a car near his home. The Bomia boy, son of Mr. Mrs. Edward Bomia, of 9714 South Dixie Hwy. was pronounced dead at Monroe Mercy Hospital after he was struck by a pick up truck in front of his home about 7:30 PM. The driver, Albert G Delrue, 57 of 9105 South Dixie Hwy. was southbound on Dixie when the boy darted in front of him in crossing the street, Monroe County Sheriff said. The boy died of head and internal injuries.
Brother Of Julie, Edward, Jr., Corey, Wendy, Steven and Troy.
Grandson of Cornelius Bomia and Almina Hamilton Bomia
Grandson of Harold Raymond and Julia Poupard Raymond.
Timmy had just completed his Kindergarten year at Mason Consolidated Elementary in Erie, Michigan and was going to start 1st grade there in September of 1972.
