Cecilia Deel, lovingly called Bobbie by her grandchildren, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Heritage Nursing Home in Quitman.
She was born in Quitman on February 2, 1920 the daughter of H. P. and Elthie Peoples Taylor.
She married Adolph Hill on October 15, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1986. She married John Thomas Deel in 1988. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Cecilia was a member of White Oak Baptist Church of Yantis.
Survivors include: son, Charles Hill and wife, Madie of Yantis; grandchildren, Chuck Hill and Christie Hill Russell; great-grandchildren, Casey and Catie Hill, Christyn Hill, Chandler Hill, Cole Hill, Chazne Hill, Joshua Russell, Jerrett Russell, and Jalynn Russell; step-daughter, Ginger Sweeden of Alba; step-sons, Mark Deel of Emory, Scott Deel of Greta, LA; step-daughter-in-law, Paula Deel of Alba; fourteen step-great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Heard of Quitman; brothers, Troyce Taylor of Quitman Boyce Taylor of Columbus, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, step-son, Tommy Glen Deel; brothers, Othal Taylor and Alvin Taylor; sisters, Myrtly Thurman, Eva Taylor and Jewell Shaw.
