Carolyn S. White, age 70, passed away Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 in Van, Texas. She was born August 19th, 1952 in Kilgore, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 16th, 2023 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home. A graveside service will beheld at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at Lindale City Cemetery. Carolyn was a longtime residence in the East Texas area as she has lived in Kilgore, Chandler, Tyler, and Van. She loved picking up and spending time with her grandbabies along with fishing. She worked in the customer service industry for 24+ years at Kid Jones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Marie (Dixon) Wilson; son, Gregory Gilliland.
She is survived by son, Shannon and wife, Crystal Bearden of Lake Palestine; brothers, Aaron Smith, Lynn Wilson; daughter in law, Beth Gilliland; grandsons, Seth Gilliland of Van, Cameron and wife, Tanner McMinn of Van, Joseph and wife, Morgan McMinn of Ben Wheeler, Jarrod Bearden ;granddaughters, Carolyn Gilliland of Van, Ashlyn Trask, Tori Bearden, Zoey Bearden; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
