Mona Cox Roberts, age 63, of Winder, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Born in Winder on October 30, 1958, Mona was a lifelong resident of Barrow County. She was a graduate of Winder-Barrow High School and was of the Christian faith. She played recreation league softball, she loved the mountains and the beach, and she enjoyed researching genealogy on Ancestry. Mona was employed at Ricoh Electronics.
Mona was predeceased by her parents, Robert Paul "Red" and Ora Alice Wallace Cox, and her brother Billy Cox. She is survived by her fiancé Bob Johnson of Winder; sons: David (Michele) Roberts of Hoschton, and Zach (Emily) Roberts of Jersey; sisters: Paula Cox Deaton of Winder and Linda Cox (Jimmy) Phillips of Statham; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends of Mona Cox Roberts will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday evening, January 28, 2022, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
