Enedina Quezada, age 82, of Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2015, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.
Enedina was born July 6, 1932, in Sealy (Austin County), Texas, the daughter of the late Santos and Anita (Ventura) Lopez. She married Leo Quezada on December 4, 1954, in Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan and later had the marriage blessed on July 14, 1956, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was employed at Tolas Restaurant as a cook and later at Central Michigan Community Hospital as a dishwasher. She retired from CMCH in 1987.
Enedina enjoyed embroidery and shopping and most of all, spending time with her family.
Her funeral will held at 4:00 P.M. at the Charles R. Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan, with the Father Don Henkes officiating. Cremation will follow the service and her ashes will be interred in the Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
Enedina is survived by ten children; Virginia (John) Alexander, of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Arthur Lopez of the Upper Peninsula, Anita Muz, Elisa Schleder, Carmen Quezada (Rob Davis), Leonard (Rhonda) Quezada and Julian (Terri) Quezada, all of Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan, Delmer Quezada, of Michigan, Joseff Quezada, of Coleman, Michigan and Mary (Delmer Jr. Jackson; thirty grandchildren, including Dan Quezada, whom she raised and many great-grandchildren; three siblings, Robert Lopez, of Traverse City (Grand Traverse County), Michigan and Eleanor and John (Joyce) Lopez, both of Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan; her aunt, Vincente Lopez, of Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan; sister-in-law, Virginia Lopez, of Shepherd (Isabella County), Michigan; daughter-in-law, Wanda Quezada, of Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, in 1994; two sons, Leo and Roy Quezada; two son-in-law, John Muz and Martin Schleder; brother, David Lopez and two sisters, Anita Medrano and Delphina Vasquez.
