Miss Amanda Morisette 89, a lifelong resident and member of a well-known family in the Pawtucketville section of this city, died last evening. She was born in Marquette, Mich., the daughter of the late Gedeon and Vitaline (Roy) Morissette. She made her home at 138 White St., and was a communicant of Ste. Jeanne
She was a member of Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Sodality and the Third Order of St. Francis. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edmond (Marie Louise) Rousseau of Lowell; a Brother Rev. Donat Morissette, OMJ, at St. Jean Baptiste Rectory; three adopted daughters, Mrs. Philip (Fernande) Champagne, Mrs. Edmond (Agnes) Breton and Mrs. Antoine (Therese) Pelletier, all of Lowell; two adopted sons, George W. Daigle of Lowell and Rev. Bro. Donat Daigle, OMI, of St. Joseph's Seminary, Bucksport, Me.
