Dorothy was a member of the Whites Branch Holiness Church she was a Homemaker, Loved to fish and plant flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Bobby Garland, two daughters, Kathy and Sandra Garland, two brothers Delmar and Jimmy Ward and one sister Linda Ward.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-three years Earl Garland of Cannon, KY. two sons Steven Garland of Hinkle, KY, Jerry Garland of London, Ohio, two daughters Darlene Garland of Cannon, KY, Phyllis Riggs and husband Dave of Bowling Green, KY, one brother Dennis Ward of Cincinnati Ohio, two sisters Allah Belle Baker and husband Bill of New Richmond, Ohio and Marylyn McCarty and husband Jim of New Richmond, Indiana.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Garland will be conducted on Monday- March 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Youel Napier and Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Garland Family Cemetery at Cannon, KY., with friends and family serving as Pallbearers and the staff of the Barbourvillle nursing home as Honorary Pallbearers.
Dorothy was Great Aunt to Juel and Mamaw's favorite sister-in-law.
