Margaret Allison

St. Marys -- Margaret A. Allison, 71, of Route 4, died Dec. 9, 2001, at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1930, in London, England. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Grace Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband, GMSgt, Ret. Ralph J. Allison; a daughter, Lt. Col. Sandra Wheeler of Upper Marlboro, Md.; a son, Gary C. Allison of Harrisburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jonathon B. Allison. Services were held at the church Dec. 12. Burial was in St. Marys IOOF Cemetery. The Ruttencutter - Ingram Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret A. Allison, 71, of Rt. 4, St. Marys, WV, died, December 9, 2001, at her residence. She was born, August 14, 1930, in London, England. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church, St. Marys, WV, where she was active in the church. She had been active in scouting, a red cross volunteer, and a register nurse. Her hobbies included painting, quilting, and needle working. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, CMSgt. (Ret.) Ralph J. Allison, one daughter, Lt. Col. Sandra A. Wheeler of Upper Marboro, MD, one son, Gary C. Allison and his wife, Paula A. of Harrisburg, PA, two grandchildren, Heather R. Wheeler of Bryan, TX, and Jonathan M. Nellis of Upper Marboro, MD, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents the late Horace and Alice Nellist House, she was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan B. Allison in 1973. Services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2001, at 12 noon, at the Grace Episcopal Church, 317 Riverside Drive, St. Marys, WV with the Rev. Andrew T. Gerns officiating. Burial will be in the St. Marys IOOF Cemetery. Calling hours from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P. M. Tuesday at the Ruttencutter-Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, and from 11 A. M to 12 noon Wednesday, at the church.
