Alice H. Cannon, 71, of Midlothian went to be with the Lord July 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fleta and Ted Headley; sister, Jackie Headley; in-laws, Thelma and Dr. Robert Cannon. She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Cannon; son, Chad Cannon (April); grandchildren, Madeline, Chandler, Christian and Christopher Cannon; sister, Helen Barrett; niece, Samantha Barrett; her best friend, Verna McNamara. Alice was a retired accountant of 40 years for the Virginia Department of Accounts. She was a lover of Disney, singing in the choir, and her beloved Lhasa apso, Sam. Above all, Alice loved her family, with her grandchildren having a special place in her heart. She was a member of The Celebration Center, and a woman of faith who loved the Lord. The family will receive friends Thursday July 13, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm at Bliley's -Chippenham. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday July 14, 2023, at Bliley's-Chippenham with a procession to Greenwood Memorial Gardens for interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, all memorial donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Celebration Center.
