Obituary: "Lyman Ledger" 18 Feb 1932, JOHN FULLER PASSED AWAY AT HOME OF SON. John Fuller, who had been seriously ill at the home of his son, Amon, in Lyman for some time passed away Friday afternoon, February 12. Mr. Fuller was nearly 88 years of age. He was born in England March 21, 1844. He came to America with his parents at the age of eight years. They first made their home in Ohio. Mr. Fuller was married to Jennie Shaffer nearly 60 years ago. Mrs. Fuller passed away in February 1916. To this union were born six children, four of whom survive. Two sons, Frank and Perry, passed away within a month of each other in the Lyman community six years ago. The surviving children are Amon of Lyman, Robert of Nebraska City, Mrs. Elmer Schooley of LaGrange, Wyo., and Mrs. Bertha Campbell of Florence. The Fullers came to this section 31 years ago, settling on a farm in Mitchell Valley where they made their home until the mother's death. Since that time Mr. Fuller made his home with his son at Nebraska City and with his son, Amon, here with whom he had made his home for the past four years. Amon was constant and faithful in the care of his father and did all in his power to make his last days comfortable and peaceful. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at Morrill in charge of the pastor of the Methodist church of that place. Burial was in Mitchell Valley cemetery beside Mrs. Fuller and the two sons.
