John ANDREWS son of Benjamin Andrews (1791-1855) and Jane Chivers (1788-?) married Emma PEARMAN on 25 January 1846, Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwickshire, England. I have to date, located 7 births which include:- Benjamin (1846-1905); William Henry (1848-1848); Jane (1851-1854); John (1853-1857); Sarah Ann (1855-1935); Emma (1857-1928 and John (1861-1927). John, Emma and their children Benjamin, Sarah, Emma and John (aged 2) arrived via the ship "Golden Empire" on 21 July 1863. John Andrews was buried in the Milton Cemetery which is now known as Suncorp Stadium, his remains still lay there. On his Qld Death Certificate he died in the Brisbane Hospital from exhaustion from dysentery, the informant was his son Benjamin who listed all living children and deceased children (2 sons and 4 daughters). His son also recorded the ship they arrive on and date, such an informative document. His wife went on to re-marry on 29 January 1869 to William Davidson Ross.
