BIO INFO: Ansel Evans was accidentally killed Tuesday, June 5, 1923. He was
charged in improving a highway when a fellow workman fell a tree across an
electric wire. The wire broke and struck Mr. Evans upon the arm, burning it to a
crips and killing him instantly. His body was broght to the Moore Undertaking
Shop in Hartford and prepared for burial. The unfortunate man was a resident of
White Run and only the day before obtained a job in Ohio county. His body was
shipped to White Run on the same day of the accident. He was married and had
