Hugh M. Bower Buried Friday

Funeral services for Hugh M. Bower, age 75 years, who died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.A. Hand, in Fort Worth, were held from the Christian Church here Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. Joe Snell conducted the rites. Interment was in White Church cemetery.

A native of Georgia, Mr. Bower came to Texas in 1893 and had resided at Blooming Grove 45 years.

Surviving are the following children; Rex Bower, Corsicana; Mrs. Floy Mae Hand, Fort Worth; Alberta Bower, Blooming Grove; Francis C. Bower, Blooming Grove; Mrs. Christine Blanton, Dallas; L.C. Bower, Fort Worth, Mrs. Lorene Moore, Fort Worth; and Mrs. Hazel Clark, Corsicana. Thirty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

McCormick Funeral Service was in charge.
