Karalee Ostler Mackay, passed away from this life and joined her eternal sweetheart on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 7:33 p.m. from many health complications. Karalee was born in Provo, Utah, on October 19, 1970, to Karen and Elvin Ostler, and raised in Springville, Utah. She has three sisters who love and adore her. She graduated from Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. She met the love of her life, Brett Graham Mackay, on a blind date. They were married on January 16, 1998, in the Manti Utah Temple. He was her everything, her biggest cheerleader. They enjoyed traveling, Disney trips, weekend getaways, and loved the experience of trying new things together. She was so heartbroken when Brett passed away suddenly in 2016.
Creating memories were more important than material things to Karalee. She loved giving those experiences to others, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved traveling. Some of her favorites were Hawaii, California, and Florida. Birthdays and anniversaries of every kind were always celebrated. She loved capturing the beauty of nature through photography, especially sunrises and sunsets. She loved music of all genres. She loved to turn up the music in the car and dance to the beat. She went to many concerts with Brett and took many of the nieces and nephews to their first concert. She was a fun person to be around and loved to play games and listen to other people's stories of their lives. She always made others feel important and appreciated their service, even strangers she would meet, on her travels. She was always trying to look for positive things to share on Facebook to uplift herself and others. She saw the best in the world and in others. She had an attention for detail which made her a valuable employee, especially at her current employer Chemtech-Ford, Inc.
