Shirlee M. Kohl, age 89, of Manitowoc passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Shady Lane Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Shirlee was born April 26, 1934 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alois and Theresa (Daron) Mrozinski. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1951.
On May 31, 1952 Shirlee was united in marriage to Robert F. Kohl in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2011.
Shirlee enjoyed walking, cooking and spending time with her family. She worked as a homemaker.
Survivors include her children: Jeff (Loy) Kohl; Steve Kohl; Teri (Craig) Theodorou; five grandchildren: Christopher (Hannah), Kayla (Devin), Erik (Carissa), Heather (Patrick), Jason; several great grandchildren; siblings: Joann (Jim) Hoffman; Charlotte Mrozinski; Sandy Larsen; Mary Mrozinski; Ken (Barbara) Mrozinski; sisters-in-law: Donna Mrozinski, Diana Mrozinski and Debbie Mrozinski; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Shirlee was preceded in death by her parents Alois & Theresa Mrozinski, her husband Robert Kohl, one daughter Dawn Kohl, three brothers Robert, Ralph and Jack Mrozinski and a brother-in-law Jim Larsen.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2023 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 7th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Shirlee's remains will be placed at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc at a later date.
