Robert Adamson died suddenly at his son's home, 45 Gallery Avenue, on Tuesday. He had been complaining of feeling unwell for several weeks, and when his daughter-in-law called him for breakfast, she found him dead. He was born on Richmond Street near by Church, where the house still remains. He was 79 years of age. His father was a brick layer and built the row of houses in the block on the site of the old homestead. The deceased was a shoemaker before retiring many years ago. His wife predeceased him 17 years ago. Four sons Samuel, Toronto; William of Buffalo; Louis and Eugene both residing in Michigan City, Indiana, survive. Burial took place this afternoon to Park Lawn Cemetery."
