Funeral services were Monday at
2 p.m. for Wilburn B. Caudle, Rt.
2, Delphi, 71, who died Friday,
Aug. 20, 1982, at 1:30 a.m. at his
home, Where he had lived 31 years.
Born Mar. 3, 1911, in Oklahoma
his parents were William and Bessie
Austin Caudle. He married Hazel
Marie Chainey Feb. 20, 1932, in
Vinita, Okla. She survives. He was a
retired farmer and carpenter in
Cass, White and Carroll counties.
Surviving with the wife are six
children, Mrs. Carl (Evelyn)
Strasser, Lucerne; Bobby Caudle,
Rt. 6, Logansport; Janice Vaughn,
Buffalo; Betty Caudle,; Melbourne,
Fla.; Shirley Turner, Delphi; and
Roger N. Caudle, Rt. 2, Brookston;
two brothers, Ray Caudle, Terrington,
Idaho and Stanley Caudle,
Monteview, Idaho; two sisters, Lela
Measel. Largo, Fla:, and Wilma
Clemans, Buffalo; 14 grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren. Two
sons and one grandson preceded in
death.
Rev. Herma Fisher was officiating
minister and burial was in
Chalmers Cemetery. Thompson
Funeral Home, Delphi, was in
charge of arrangements.
