Darlene Housley, a resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 48. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Monday, Aug. 10, from 11 a.m. until chapel service at 2 p.m. Survived by sisters, Dianne Courtney and husband Ray Courtney, Rhonda McKinney and husband Donnie McKinney, and Sheila Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Hiram B. and Gladys Gill May; sisters, Louise Achord and Pamela Nadeau; and four nephews. She was an avid Miami Dolphins and LSU fan and loved anything that involved the outdoors from fishing to any sport that could be played including shooting pool. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
