A retired Delta Southern machinist and resident of Denham Springs, he died Saturday, Dec. 28, 1996, at his residence. He was 77 and a native of Gloster, Miss. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. W.S. McMasters and the Rev. Benny Jones. Interment in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survived by wife, Gladys Gill May; six daughters, Louise Achord, Dianne Courtney and Pamela Nadeau, all of Walker, Rhonda Marchesseault and Sheila Robinson, both of Springfield, and Darlene Housley, Baton Rouge; a sister, Ophilia Wesley; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Amos and Ruby May; three brothers and three sisters.
He was a member of Revival Temple Pentecostal Church, Walker.
