Daniel was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Although he worked at Lebanon Packaging Company, for most of his life, he worked at the Lebanon Steel Foundry.
Daniel was a member of the American Legion Post, Jonestown and the Disabled American Veterans Post, Hershey.
In addition to his sister Jane, he is survived by his other sister: Carrie Kohr, Jonestown RD 3.
