Dorrel "Pappy" Burdette, 72, of Dunbar passed away April 7, 2008.
He was the owner/operator of Pappy's Heating and Cooling Inc.
He is survived by a son, James Michael Burdette and his wife, Barbara Ann, of Charleston; daughter, Jennifer Simmons and her husband, Charles, of Charleston and Stephannie Burdette of Charleston; brother, James Ernest Burdette of St. Albans; sister, Deanna Malone of Sissonville; grandchildren, Bryan, Jeremy, Adam and Melody Simmons, Jonathan Burdette and Andrew Burdette; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home.
Private graveside services will follow the visitation with the Rev. John H. Simmons officiating.
