Edwin was born near Truro & had an interesting life when he migrated to Australia during the Ballarat, Victoria gold rush era. He was a large shareholder of a gold mine that was considered to be the richest in the world at that time. Louisa re-married Charles Thomas Wilkinson in 1881.
