The Bolivar Commercial, Cleveland, Mississippi, Monday, April 4, 2008: Martha Nokes Weeks, 75, of Boyle, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland with the Rev. Steve Holtz officiating. Burial will follow in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens in Cleveland.
Ms. Weeks was born on Dec. 6, 1932, in Schlater to Herman Nokes and Pattie Bailey Nokes. She married Stanley Harris Weeks on June 2, 1962.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Harris Weeks.
Survivors include three daughters, Judy Bridges Weeks (Doyle) of Cleveland, Brenda Bridges Ellis (Kenneth) of Carrollton and Stacy Weeks Hurst (Timothy) of Boyle; a stepson, Mitchell Weeks of Greenville; one brother, Ramon Nokes of Scott; a devoted and very loving friend, Kathy Grossman of Itta Bena; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Phillip Rizzo, Richard Rhodes, Michael Weeks, Danny Tharp, Mike Griffin, David Grossman, Johnny Weeks, and Raymond Daniels.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Perrett, Nathan Perrett, Brian Weeks and Stu Holliday.
