Leila Elkin Larison, 79 years of age, departed this life on Friday, February 17th, 1984 at her home in Fairhaven, Ohio.
Leila was born on April 27th, 1904, daughter of the late Cyrus Rupard Elkin and Eliza Jane Reffett Elkin. She was a member of the Fairhaven Community Church and was a retired employee of Avco in Richmond, Indiana.
Leila was survived by one son, Leon Larison; one daughter, Beulah Benton; one brother, Hart Elkin; two sisters, Anna Brinniger and Lula Aldriage; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
Leila was preceded in death by her husband of 60+ years, Isaac L. Larison, whom she married on June 3rd, 1920 and who departed this life in 1981; and her parents, Cyrus Rupard Elkin, who departed this life on July 11th, 1921 and Eliza Jane Reffett Elkin, departed this life on January 2nd, 1975.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 21st, 1984 in the Chapel of the Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home in Eaton, Ohio with the Rev. Robert DeMass, pastor of Fairhaven Community Church officiating.
Burial followed in the Fairhaven Cemetery.
