Lester Clark Rexroad, 93, of Parkersburg died Friday, March 3, 2006, at Wyngate Senior Living Community.
He was born in Dutchman, W.Va., a son of the late Franklin L. and Myrtle O. Clark Rexroad. He retired in 1975 from Pennzoil Co. after 40 years. He was a member of Soul Mate walking group in the Grand Central Mall and a lifetime member of Christ United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edgar and Betsy Rexroad of Parkersburg and Marvin and Nancy Rexroad of Vienna; five grandchildren, Dennis Rexroad of Aiken, S.C., Debbie Mann of Raleigh, N.C., Beth Oliver of Columbia, S.C., Robb Rexroad of Westerville, Ohio, and Jody Rexroad of Lexington, Ky.; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Rexroad, both of Parkersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Marie Sullivan Rexroad; three brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Perry Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 715 16th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
