George Lopes, of Keaau, died Monday at Hilo Hospital He was a private cane planter, and was born in Hilo.
A wake service will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. The chapel will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will begin at 10 am, Saturday at the mortuary chapel. The chapel will be open on Saturday from 9 to 10 m. Interment will follow at Alae Cemetery.
Mr. Lopes is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Angelina Narito of Kurtistown, Mrs.
Soledad Narito of San Diego, and Mrs. Raymulda Santiago of the Philippines.
