Shirley Lawson, 59, of Mountainburg, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 in a Little Rock hospital. She was born December 12, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a Real Estate Agent for Re-Max Executives Real Estate and a member of Kibler United Methodist church and the Alma Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by her husband, Van, of the home; three daughters, Brenda Cox of Blountville, TN, Sharon Fortenberry of Haleyville, AL, and Rita Boyle of Alma, AR; her mother, Charlotte Kardach of California; two sisters, Pat Mendonca of San Antonio, TX and Eve Sharp of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Jimmy Chamberlain of Dallas, TX; 10 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 14, 2008 at Kibler United Methodist Church with burial at Alma Cemetery in Alma, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Don Ellison, Blare Rogers, Roy Rogers, Larry Rhodes, Jim White, and Tim Pense.
