HELPER/PHOENIX, Ariz. - Ronald E. Kosmack, 67, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Sunday, Jan.13, 2008.

He was born Aug. 21, 1940 to Anton and Anna Kosmack in Helper.

He was a member of the SNPJ Lodge 689 in Helper for nearly 50 years.

Ron worked in construction most of his life, which took him all around the southwest.

He loved to be on the open road, was an avid sports fan (especially college basketball) and loved collecting western antiques and dinnerware.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn Gomez Kosmack, originally from Helper; daughter, Kimberly Burgdorf, and her husband, Kevin, of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Chaz Kosmack, and his wife, Dawn, of Houston, Texas; and four beloved grandchildren Cody, Cassidy, Charles and Amanda. He is also survived by brothers, Johnny and Tony Kosmack of Helper; along with many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Anne, Jo and Kate.

Honoring Ron's wishes, no services are planned.

He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
