"ERICH MANTLER - After a struggle with cancer, Erich passed away on September 18, 2015 at the Grace Hospital at 71 years of age. Erich is survived by his wife; his daughter of Winnipeg; his son of California; stepchildren; step-grandchildren; a brother in Ontario; numerous other relatives and many good friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Josef and Aloisia; brothers, Franz (1953), Albert (1955); sister Mary (2001). Erich was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and the Winnipeg Male Chorus."
