Patricia "Pat" Adams Moseley passed peacefully on September 16, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
A small graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, September 30, 2023, at Rochelle Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
Patricia Joan was born to Anna Mae Adams and Wiley Adams on March 6, 1936, in Mercury, Texas. While Pat was in high school, she lived with her grandmother, Gussie Adams in Placid. She was a 1954 graduate of Rochelle High School where she was a Football Sweetheart, Homecoming Queen, and played volleyball and basketball. She married John Moseley on October 2, 1954, at Rochelle Baptist Church in Rochelle, and they has a daughter Joanna, and a son Philip while living in San Angelo. They moved to Houston in 1965 due to a job change of her husband, John.
Pat and John were blessed with many close friends and opportunities to travel the world with those friends. After John retired, they moved to Horseshoe Bay, and lived there until they relocated to Austin, to be close to their children.
Pat was the glue that held the family together. She loved her family and friends ferociously, and never let them go. With her caring nature and contagious, she improved the lives of everyone who came in contact.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, sister, June McGaughey, brother-in-law, Marion McGaughey and infant grandson, Collin Moseley.
She is survived by her husband, John, daughter, Joanna Thompson and husband, Steve of Austin, her son Philip Moseley and wife, Lisa of Austin. She is also survived by grandchildren John Thompson of Mancos, Colorado, Brian Thompson, Tyler Moseley and Travis Moseley of Kyle, Texas great grandchild Ellis Thompson of Mancos, Colorado, and niece, Kathy Greetan of Midland.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to the Boys and Girls Country of Houston, 18806 Roberts Road, Hockley, TX 77447.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
