Professional Wrestler. Grable was a six-time National Wrestling Alliance World Tag Team Champion with Wendy Richter. She began her career in the early 1970s, being trained by her idol Judy Grable, making her ring name Joyce Grable in tribute to Judy. Joyce would win her first NWA Tag Team Championship with Vicki Williams in 1973, holding the belt for two years. In 1978, she would win the NWA United States Women's Championship from Ann Casey. Grable would form her tag team with Richter, whom Grable trained in 1982, and the team would compete across the world, including in Calgary's Stampede Wrestling. Grable would often appear in the World Wrestling Federation between 1973 and 1983, working singles matches against The Fabulous Moolah or in tag team matches with Williams. Grable's last major appearance was at the American Wrestling Association's WrestleRock 86, where she competed in a battle royale. She retired in 1991. For her contributions to wrestling, she was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2013, as well as the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2022.
