He served in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1963, serving aboard the USS Hawkins. He was a proud member of Brooklin Masonic Lodge #704 F&AM and was a member of the Zamora Shrine. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 974. Carl was the retired owner of Commercial Ice after 30 years. He was an avid gardener and loved spending time in his greenhouse.
Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his son, Carl Andrew "Carly" Frost; parents, Robert Harvey and Leither Donaldson Frost; brothers: Henry Frost, Herman Frost and Robert "Bob" Frost; sisters, Doris Vallejo and Lucille Raygan; brothers-in-law: Jose Vallejo, Terry Raygan, Sam Windham, Jim Gray and T.J. Noe; sister-in-law, Betty Frost; and his best friend of 69 years, Wayne Humber.
Funeral services will be Wednesday Oct. 4, 23 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial with Military and Masonic honors will follow at McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday 5:30-8 pm at the funeral home.
