Jacob Tice, employed on the Daniel Odell property on East Main Street, was thrown from a wagon last Monday and fatally injured. He was standing up in the wagon when the horse took fright and bolted, throwing him out and striking his head on a stone wall. Assistance was quickly called and he was hurried to the Peekskill hospital. Drs. Curry, Mason and Snowden held an examination and found he had a fracture of the skull at the base of the brain. The injured man lingered until Tuesday afternoon and passed away without regaining consciousness. Mr. Tice leaves a wife and two children.
