"CAMP GRANT OFFICER TO WED.
"Lieut. Donald Boynton Douglas, of Camp Grant, and Miss Martha Clow, of Lake Forest, are to be married Saturday at the Lake Forest Presbyterian church, the Rev. George Roberts, Jr., officiating. Lieutenants Arthur Tuttle and Gordon McCormick, also of Camp Grant, will be among the ushers. The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Clow, after which the newly-weds will come to Rockford to reside during the groom's stay at the cantonment."

Miss Anita Aldrich was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Mildred Fitzhugh of Lake Forest and Miss Janet Elliott of Boston. James H. Douglas was best man and the ushers were Capt. Kent Chandler, Lieut. Arthur Tuttle, Lieut. Gordon McCormick, Douglas Stuart, William E. Clow Jr., and Kent S. Clow. The church was decorated with American flags and huge clusters of chrysanthemums.
"Following the wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Clow. The young couple will have no honeymoon, as Lieut. Douglas must report immediately at Camp Grant, Rockford."
