Her husband, Clifford E Evans was living with Lila's family (Winthrop W Shattuck - her uncle, now married to her mother, Mary Shattuck) on the 1930 US Census as a Lodger. In May, he married Margaret Merman, after short 2 months, he then married Lila on 22 Jul 1930 in Los Angeles and they were living together on the 1940 US Census with their 10 mo son Winthrop Shattuck Evans (1939-2008) and Lila's mother Mary Shattuck.
