Thérèse E. (Cormier) Breau died on Thursday, December 27, 2018, following a long illness.
Born in Grand-Sault, New Brunswick, she was the lastborn child of Alfred S. and Bibianne M. (Sirois) Cormier.
All will remember Thérèse's great courage and immense generosity. She was the heart of her family; and her two granddaughters, Juliette and Francoise, were the joy of her life and brought her a lot of happiness. Thérèse adored her flowers and her garden; and her kitties and puppies, who she dearly loved, were a big part of her family life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and her absence will be difficult for all.
Thérèse is sadly missed by her husband, Peter H. Breau; her three children, Yuri N. Breau (Natacha), Patrick A. Breau (Innis) and Simon P. Breau; and her two granddaughters, Juliette and Françoise — all of Shediac. She also leaves behind one sister, Madeleine Martin (and her husband Paul) of Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska; three brothers, René Cormier (late wife, Elizabeth) and Jean-Guy Cormier (Michelle), all of Campbellton, as well as Donat Cormier (Donna) of Niagara Falls; a half-sister, Rita (Cormier) Bélanger of Edmundston; and a half-brother, Gérard Cormier of Niagara Falls.
She was predeceased by her sister, Alfreda Cormier, and 10 half-brothers and -sisters.
The Breau Family received condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre in Shediac on Wednesday afternoon and evening, January 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and on Thursday morning, January 3, from 9:30 until the time of departure at 10:45 am. The funeral mass was celebrated at St-Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Shediac on Thursday at 11am.
In memory of Thérèse, the family requested that contributions be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (or to a charity of the one's choice).
