Ernest and his wife, Mildred Irene Kellum, had a stillborn daughter in January 1918. His death certificate states he died of influenza, and in 1918, that probably means the Spanish Flu. His death certificate says he was buried in Calvary Cemetery, which is where his daughter was buried in January 1918. But, I can't find a record of him there.
