Albert Adams, 72, Eubank, died Wednesday, April 20, at Ft. Logan Hospital, Stanford, following an illness of several months.

Born October 13, 1904, in Pulaski County, he was the son of Alexander and Louie Clay Moore Adams, both of whom preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, the former Kate Stringer, whom he married in 1934, at Richmond; two daughters, Betty Sue Adams, Eubank and Mrs. Joyce Lawless, Harrison, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie McAninch, Yosemite, Mrs. Laura Mullins, Frankfort, and Mrs. Rebecca Wesley, Science Hill; and a granddaughter, Marquita Lawless, Harrison, Ohio.

He was a farmer and member of Sardis Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Barnett Funeral Home, Inc., Waynesburg, with Rev. Grady Baskin, Jr. officiating.

Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at Barnett Funeral Home, Inc., Waynesburg.

Albert Adams, 72, of Eubank, died Wednesday, April 20, at Fort Logan Hospital after an extended illness.

A native of Pulaski County, he was born October 13, 1904 to the late Louis Clay Moore and Alexander Adams. He was a retired farmer and member of Sardis Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Stringer Adams, whom he married May 8, 1934 in Richmond; two daughters, Betty Sue Adams of Eubank and Mrs. Joyce Lawless of Harrison, Ohio; a granddaughter, Miss Markita Lawless; and three sisters, Mrs. Elsie McAninch of Yosemite, Mrs. Laura Mullins of Frankfort, and Mrs. Rebecca Wesley of Science Hill.

Funeral services were held on Friday at Barnett Funeral Home. The Rev. Grady Baskin, Sr. officiated and burial was in Eubank Cemetery.
