Entertainer. He was a well-known Vietnamese actor, singer, and musician. Because he performed a comedy duet with Hoài Linh for over 20 years in his career, he is most known as a comedian. He began his career as a guitarist in the band "Lướt Sóng" in 1976–1977. After moving to the USA in 1981, he formed a new band called "Chi Tai's Brothers" with his younger brother Chí Thái (drums), comedian Kiều Linh (trumpet), elder brother Chí Thiện (keyboard), musician Trịnh Nam Sơn (saxophone and keyboard), and himself (main guitar and background vocal). Paris By Night 18: Thuy Nga Production had been introduced to his band in Paris. As a music arranger, he had worked with Chí Tài since Paris By Night 15. Since there weren't many comic actors, Chí Tài began a comedy career with Hoài Linh in 1997. On December 9, 2020, a stroke claimed his life. December 19, 2020, marked his cremation and burial in Orange County, California's Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
