Gay Downey Barrow Jackson, 59, of Bunker Hill, WV died on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at his residence.

Born January 9, 1949 in Edinburg, VA he was the son of the late Harry Calvin and Mary Jackson Barrow.

He is survived by three sons, Duane Barrow of Charles Town, Darin Barrow of Ranson, and Daryl Barrow of Charles Town; eight grandchildren, Adaira, Kaila Barrow, Selena Stillions, Mercedes Barrow, Dylan Barrow, Derrick Barrow, Donavin Barrow, and Paisley Barrow; four brothers, Ronnie and Ray Barrow both Winchester, VA, Jay Barrow of Inwood, Nay Barrow of Glengary; five sisters, Faye Kerns of Winchester, Mae Ballenger of Middleway, Kay Mumaw of Frederick, MD, Joy Walls of Gerrardstown, and Bonnie Smith of Martinsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Donnie C. Barrow and one sister, Connie Knipple.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 2, 2008, at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Paynes Chapel Cemetery.
