Audrey Ashby, age 40, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Deburger) Ashby, was born on February 26, 1983, in Madison, Indiana. She attended Madison Consolidated High school and worked at The Red Pepper for many years. She loved to sit on the river, especially with her son, spending time in the Bee Camp area, volunteering, and her cats-her favorite being Pee Pie. She was a hoarder and cared for everyone else first. She was a beautiful person. Mrs. Ashby passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.

Her life will be cherished by her children: Candice Taylor and Charles Houston, both of Madison; her sisters: Jennifer Ashby, of Madison, and Natasha Ashby of Madison; her grandmother, Lavada Vandevanter, of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjaman Hornback; and infant twin sisters: Angela and Andrea Ashby.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop.
