Benito Bonifay Well Known in Escambia, Dies; Passed Away at His Home in Bonifay, Yesterday Afternoon at 4 o'clock.; Reached The Age Sixty-Two Years; Was a Native of Escambia County and Spent His Life Here -- Had Been Engaged in Business at Roberts for Many Years-- Funeral on Tuesday. Beneito [sic] M. Bonifay, a well-known and highly respected resident of Escambia county, died yesterday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock at his home at Roberts. His death will be learned with regret by a large circle of friends, not only in Pensacola, but throughout the county. He had been ill for several weeks, and while his death did not come unexpectedly, it was nevertheless a shock to his relatives.

Mr. Bonifay was a native of Escambia county and spent practically all of his life here. For many years he had been in business at Roberts and was liked by all of the residents of that community. He had reached the age of 62 years, and is survived by two sons, E. Gale Bonifay and B. M. Bonifay, Jr., and one daughter, Mrs. B. F. Coker. The remains will be brought to Pensacola this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock and carried to the home of Ed Gale Bonifay, No. 2 East DeSoto street, from which the funeral cortege will leave at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning for St. Michael's church, where the funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 o'clock. The interment will be in St. Michael's cemetery.

The following will act as pall bearers: John B. Jones, C. H. Gonzalez, A. Greenhut, J. J. Hooten, F. C. Bonifay and N. B. Cook
