She was born Dec. 5, 1907, in Clinton, the daughter of James Marion and Edith Willey Harrell.
Mrs. Abella graduated from Kansas University in 1930. She was a secretary at the Federal Bank Examiner's office in Kansas City, Mo., until her retirement in 1975.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
She was married to Narciso E. "Bo" Abella.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Henry Abella, Newnan, Ga.; two brothers, James M. Harrell, Lawrence, and John E. Harrell, Lecompton; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
