Glenn L. Harris, 64, went home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2018 with his family by his side. After 31 years of service, Glenn retired as an Underground Lineman from Dominion Energy. He was a graduate of Crestwood High Class of 1971 and member of Greater Bethel AME Church in Chesapeake. He is predeceased by his parents, Pauline and Joseph L. Harris and sisters, Geraldine Chatman and Barbara Brown and her husband Calvin Brown.

He is survived by his loving wife Rosie Harris; two daughters, Carla Mabry (Calvin) and Michelle Singleton; three grandchildren, Adam, Cheyenne, and Calvin, III; four brothers, Joseph Harris (Ada), Walter "Ray" Harris (Temple), Kelvin "Andy" Harris, and James "Jimmy" Harris (Lynda); two sisters, Carole Harris (David), and Sharon Foreman (Anthony). He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 21, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA. A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church South Hill, 3633 Galberry Rd, Chesapeake, VA. Burial will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
